Privacy Statement under the Law on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”) Article 10 of Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK") imposes an obligation to inform on the data controller's address and contact information under the heading "Obligation to Inform the Data Controller." This includes the purposes for which personal data will be processed, to whom and for what purpose the processed personal data may be transferred, the method and legal basis for collecting personal data, and the obligation to inform the data subject about the rights stated in Article 11 of the KVKK.
Our company has taken necessary precautions regarding compliance with the Law, especially concerning the protection of personal data, fundamental rights, and freedoms, including the right to privacy and information security protection. This Privacy Statement has been prepared to inform and enlighten data subjects under the KVKK and relevant legislation.

a) Purposes of Processing Personal Data
Your personal data is processed by UBC CHEMICAL to fulfil our legal obligations following the principles and procedures prescribed by the Law on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK) and other relevant laws and regulations, to ensure the continuation of our activities.
b) Purposes of Processing Personal Data
Your collected personal data will be processed within the scope of commercial activities under the conditions and purposes of processing personal data specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK), aiming to ensure the legal and commercial security of individuals in business relations with UBC Chemical and UBC Chemical, execution of UBC Chemical's Human Resources policies, and determination and implementation of UBC Chemical's commercial and business strategies.
c) Transfer of Personal Data to Third Parties and/or Abroad
Your data may be transferred to relevant legal entities within the scope of the relevant protocol, by the provisions defined in Articles 8 and 9 of Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data, in compulsory cases for UBC CHEMICAL to conduct its services more effectively, within the necessary measures and confidentiality agreements. However, your personal data will not be transferred abroad.
d) Method and Legal Basis of Personal Data Collection
Your personal data is collected by UBC CHEMICAL by the rules specified in the Law on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK) to provide commercial services and conduct our activities. Accordingly, your data collected for this legal reason may also be processed and transferred for the purposes stated in clauses (b) and (c) of this Privacy Statement within the scope of the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK.
e) Your Rights as a Data Subject:
According to Article 11 titled "Rights of the data subject" of the Law, the rights you have are as follows:
- To learn whether personal data is being processed,
- To request information if personal data has been processed,
- To learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used for their purpose,
- To know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred, whether domestically or abroad,
- To request correction if personal data is incomplete or incorrectly processed,
- To request deletion or destruction of personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated in Article 7,
- To request notification of the operations carried out following clauses (d) and (e) to third parties to whom personal data is transferred,
- To object to the occurrence of a result against oneself through the exclusive analysis of processed data by automated systems.
According to Article 13/1 of the KVKK, you must submit your request regarding the exercise of the rights mentioned above to UBC CHEMICAL in "written" form or through other methods determined by the Personal Data Protection Board. In this context, you can notify your request regarding the above-mentioned rights through the communication channels provided at https://www.ubcchemicals.com digitally or by submitting a handwritten letter with identifying documents to our address: "Kültür Mahallesi 1377. Our company will process the requests included in your applications as soon as possible and at the latest within 30 (thirty) days, depending on the nature of the requests.
Requests in this context will be accepted by us following the verification of your identity, and a written or electronic response will be provided to the relevant individuals within the legal deadlines.
