Foundry Resin and Hardeners Portfolio

The sand casting process is one of the most commonly used methods in the production of a metal part in the casting industry. In this process, a mold box is first prepared, and sand is spread on the inner surface of the mold. A pattern is placed on the sand to give the mold a suitable shape. Then, the mold box is closed with the other side, and molten metal is poured into the mold. The metal solidifies, taking the shape of the mold, and can be used as a part after being removed from the mold.

With our developed phenol formaldehyde-based Alkaline Phenolic Resin Series and Furan Resin Series for the sand casting process, you can achieve a smoother and more homogeneous mold surface. This helps fill air voids in the mold, resulting in a more homogeneous casting and extending the mold's lifespan.

Our hardeners, with easily adjustable curing times, allow you to remove cast parts from the mold more easily. Additionally, we can help reduce mold surface wear, extend the mold's lifespan, and mitigate thermal stresses
